In March we had to cancel our rollout with a heavy heart. 6 months later, in September, we managed to have it under Corona compliant conditions. After spending a few months in our home office, we were able to gradually resume our workshop activities in the last few months.
With a limited number of people on our premises and many of our partner companies ramping up again, both internal and external manufacturing picked up again. Of course, it was not easy to manufacture as effectively as in previous seasons under the difficult conditions, but we accepted the challenge and made the best of the situation.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of each and every one of our team members, whether from the home office or in the workshop, we had two finished vehicles ready to go on the test track at rollout: Nuri, our new electric race car, and Rita, our enhanced electric-autonomous bolide. In our 2019/2020 season, we not only created an optimal basis for the next season, but also learned what it really means to be a team. We are looking forward to starting the next season, learning even more, and growing beyond ourselves.
